Notable Community Awards

IMPACT-Awards-logo150x150Notable Community Awards are presented to communities that have faced challenges that are common in all Florida community associations and overcome them effectively. There is a experience to be shared and lessons to learn from these notable communities.

Examples of these efforts include innovative budgeting efforts and cost-control programs, implementation of neighborhood watch or other security programs, raising money for playground equipment or other community needs, implementing community health programs, implementing energy-saving programs, etc. Almost any area of management or oversight can be included.

Nominations can be made in any of the following three categories that apply to your community:

Notable Community Recognition

  1. Quality of Operations
    This category includes interior and exterior repairs and maintenance, structure, aesthetics, building and grounds, safety and security, and other areas of community management
  2. Quality in Financial Management
    This category includes any cost-saving policies, procedures, and innovations, collections; income opportunities and other areas of financial management, bookkeeping, and record keeping
  3. Quality in Community Relations
    This category includes all issues related to people living with people: communications, rule enforcement, pets, parking, events, conflict resolution, and any programs designed to promote community cohesion and harmony
