Are You an Effective Community Association Manager?

Marcy writes a monthly column for the Florida Community Association Journal/Florida Community Association Professionals called “CAM to CAM.” She is the Education & Training Coordinator for FCAP and assists in improving advanced training materials for those pursuing the CFCAM (Florida Certified Community Association Manager) designation.

She has served as an on-site manager and held senior positions managing luxury high rises, condo-hotels, and mixed-use and developer startups, overseeing over 120 properties and 34,000 units throughout the state of Florida. Her passion, drive, and motivation were awarded in 2014 as National Onsite Manager of the Year, Top 10 Finalist for 2018 National Onsite Manager of the Year, and Women Empowering Women, 2021 Mentor of the Year.

She was inspired to share her knowledge with others and shared her passion with her colleagues for building a team.

She focuses on the positive and was unstoppable in pursuing her passion. She also gives credit to the many relationships she has made with industry leaders, professionals, and homeowners that inspired her to write and “Pay it Forward” in sharing her knowledge.

Marcy has established a reputation as a leader who is driven by challenge, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to raising the level of professionalism in the industry.

She has a proven track record of maximizing productivity by harnessing team strengths and improving performance in overseeing luxury high-rise buildings and working and establishing relationships with the Managers, Board of Directors, and residents she serves.

Marcy has provided exceptional management services that protect and enhance investment value and quality of life for the owners who have entrusted their assets to her.

In 2020, Marcy Kravit had experienced a health setback which she eventually overcame; it was advised that she make a change and decided to fuel her passion for technology.

Marcy joined Hotwire Communications. As Hotwire Communications continued to expand its network throughout South Florida, providing a full suite of telecommunications services to a growing number of communities and many that she served, the company welcomed Marcy Kravit as the Director of Community Association Relations. It was Carl Lender, Executive

Vice President that recognized Marcy’s closely connected relationships to the community association industry.

In 2022, Marcy was appointed to be an Adjunct Instructor at Palm Beach State College for CAM.
