CAI Central Florida—Heroes of All Types

CAI Central Florida—Heroes of All Types

Published April 2021

Heroes of all types abounded at the CAI Central Florida chapter’s 2021 CA Day & Trade Show, held February 12th at Orlando World Center Marriott. Hundreds of community association managers and board members were educated and entertained by booths decorated in this year’s theme, “Building Heroes in Your Community.” Many of the service providers and attendees were attired in colorful costumes ranging from the comic book caped crusaders of popular cinema to the true-life heroes of today, like medical care givers and first responders. One unique fan favorite was the caped pair of Captain Valuation and Super Reserve Specialist, who discussed the adventures of insurance valuations and reserve studies from the Expert Inspectors’ lair. Not to be outdone, Agent Peggy Carter of Captain America fame, portrayed by Jen Agravat, rescued managers and board members from the pitfalls of road rejuvenation at the Asphalt Restoration Technology Services booth. Richard and Dana Johns, publishers of the Florida Community Association Journal, were also on hand to meet with many of our faithful readers.

The Central Florida chapter of CAI has a tradition of pulling out the stops for their theme-based annual trade shows. In addition to offering educational CEU courses and a board member certification class, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to network with fellow community leaders, CAMs, and over 120 business partners who serve more than 7,500 condominium and homeowner associations across central Florida.
