O & S Associates

       O&S Associates is pleased to announce the relocation of their Fort Lauderdale office, serving the Southeast Florida region and adjacent areas. This office is led by Jason Borden, PE, who is a senior engineer and project manager with almost 20 years of experience.  O&S was established in 1996 in the greater New York City Area and has now grown to eight offices and more than 70 employees. Our staff includes structural engineers, registered architects, mechanical/ electrical/ plumbing & fire protection engineers, parking planners, roofing consultants, and LEED certified designers. We are currently working on projects in 26 states. Over the last 21-plus years, we have successfully completed more than 2,500 repair, renewal, and energy upgrade projects including HVAC, exterior walls, parking structures, electrical distribution, and site civil projects.

       O&S provides complete engineering and architectural services, including 40-year re-certification, exterior wall condition assessment, roofing consulting, chiller and cooling tower replacement, electrical and gas sub-metering, condominium transition studies, and reserve studies. We are a budget-conscious firm; therefore, each assessment includes detailed opinions of probable construction costs pursuant to our recommendations to help boards and managers with prioritization, scheduling, and phasing. We also work closely with the owner and contractor during construction to help ensure the contractor delivers the project properly. Our goal is to provide our clients with full service over the project life so that the owners can rest assured that limited resources were invested wisely.
